Solar Carport – A2 Beek

Building solar carports along the A2 highway at Beek gives electric vehicle drivers a better charging experience. We installed 32 units that shelter vehicles while generating clean energy. It’s a smart use of space that turns a standard parking stop into a functional power source.

The setup provides 6 MWp of capacity, feeding renewable energy directly into the fast-charging network. We focused on making the site easy to use and durable for heavy daily traffic. This project shows how existing infrastructure can work harder by adding solar power right where the demand is highest.
