About This Project
Combining wind and solar on a single 1KM stretch in Burgervlotbrug required a smart approach to cable pooling. By sharing one connection, we maximized the existing infrastructure without needing extra grid capacity.
We installed 7,488 units to reach a power capacity of 4 MW. This setup allows for consistent energy production, using the solar panels when the sun is out and the wind turbines when the breeze picks up. It is a straightforward, efficient way to get more out of the local grid.
