Sustainable logistics center with solar roof
Building this logistics center near the port of Rotterdam required a focus on high-capacity energy production without compromising operational space. We installed 6,620 solar units across the roof to turn the large surface area into a functional power plant.
The system now provides 3.4 MWp of clean electricity, directly supporting the site’s high energy demands. By integrating the panels into the initial design, the facility operates with much lower overhead and a significantly smaller footprint on the local grid. It is a straightforward, effective setup for a modern shipping hub.
