Under construction: 30MWh BESS plant

Building a 30MWh battery arrangement at the Groetpolder Wind Farm required careful coordination. We installed this 13.3MW BESS plant in the North Holland polder to work alongside six existing 2.2MW wind turbines.

The goal was to create a reliable system that manages the power generated on-site more effectively. By adding this storage capacity, the wind farm can better balance its output and provide a steady supply of energy to the grid. It is a straightforward, technical solution to help the facility get the most out of every gust of wind.
