Integrating an advanced 5MWh energy storage system in Middenmeer required a precise setup, especially since we colocated it directly with an existing wind turbine. This BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) provides a 2.2 MW power capacity, allowing the site to manage energy flow more effectively.
By connecting the storage units to the turbine, the system captures excess power and stabilizes the local grid. It is a straightforward, technical solution that ensures the energy generated by the wind is used efficiently, giving the customer much better control over their power output and costs.
